Monon and Main
Awards: Best New Construction 2018
Location: Carmel, Indiana
Description: This project was the design of Anthony’s Chophouse, 3UP, 7 townhomes, and a parking garage. The restaurant is approximately 12,000 square feet, which faces out to the Monon Trail and Main Street. 3UP is accessed in a separate elevator above the chophouse. The four-story office building with 17,600 square feet of office space and 8,000 square feet of ground floor retail space is attached. The MEP creativity is noticeably complimentary throughout the buildings, with features such as the temperate and humidity control in the wine cellar, cove lighting, and recessed radiant heaters to name a few. The Glass Chimney is brought to life here, which adds a rare element to the space. Everything about this project was strategic. Genesis worked diligently with the Lazzara Family, the City of Carmel, and the design team to bring to life their vision of a fine dining establishment and public plaza in the upscale city of Carmel.
