Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Description: This renovation project included multiple new lab spaces, including a general chemistry lab, a chemistry and forensic sciences lab, a trace metal lab, an instrument lab, and a psychology lab. Seven new fume hoods were installed as part of this project, including a perchloric hood complete with a wash down system and safety controls in the trace metal lab. Overhead service carriers with power, data and gases were installed in the labs. A central shared lab gas tank farm area was created to support all of the labs. A mass spectrometer with a superconducting magnet was installed in the instrument lab, including a process chiller and special room considerations. Construction was completed in 2015.
