Location: Lafayette, Indiana

Description: This project was a 3,100 square foot addition to an existing outpatient surgery center. Three new hyperbaric chambers, 6 exam rooms and support spaces were designed in this space. A new liquid oxygen bulk storage tank was also designed to support the wound care facility, as well as the surgery center. The project also included a study of the existing DX rooftop equipment and the conversion of this DX equipment to chilled water to support the new wound care area, as well as a portion of the existing surgery center. The project had
challenges with respect to the budget. Therefore, the team provided extensive value engineering ideas to keep the project in the desired budget.
